Who We Are

GunBrigade is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing the number of unwanted firearms entering circulation — not through legislation, pressure, or politics, but through voluntary, lawful, private transactions. We respect the rights of responsible gun owners and the Second Amendment. Our mission focuses solely on firearms that someone has already chosen to sell.

What We Do

Every day, firearms move through buyback events, pawn shops, and private sales across the country. Many of these guns eventually end up:

  • Stolen
  • Trafficked
  • Resold repeatedly
  • Used in violent crimes

GunBrigade steps in at the exact moment a firearm is already entering the marketplace. We raise funds, purchase those firearms, and permanently destroy them — ensuring they never re‑enter circulation again.

Why It Matters

A firearm that is sold today can be used in a crime tomorrow. A gun sitting in a pawn shop can be stolen next week. A private sale can unknowingly put a weapon into the wrong hands.

By purchasing and destroying these firearms, we remove them from the chain of risk entirely. No resale. No theft. No trafficking. No future harm.

Our Approach

Gun Brigade operates with three core principles:

Voluntary Transactions Only

We never pressure anyone to surrender a firearm.
We only purchase guns from people who have already chosen to sell them.

Full Respect for Gun Owners and the Second Amendment

We are not anti‑gun.
We are not political.
We believe in lawful ownership and personal rights.

Permanent Destruction

Every firearm we acquire is dismantled and destroyed so it can never be used, stolen, or resold.

Where We Purchase Firearms

We legally acquire firearms from:

  • Gun buyback events
  • Pawn shops (a major source of guns later used in crimes)
  • Private sellers who no longer want their firearms

Every transaction is documented, lawful, and transparent.

Our Vision

We envision a country where unwanted firearms are removed safely, respectfully, and permanently — without infringing on anyone’s rights. A practical, non‑political approach to reducing the number of guns that could otherwise end up in violent crime.

How You Can Help

Your support directly funds the purchase and destruction of unwanted firearms. Every donation removes another gun from circulation — forever.
