GunBrigade is a privately funded program that helps individuals safely dispose of unwanted firearms. We raise money, purchase firearms legally, and ensure they are permanently destroyed.
Is this a government program?

Is it legal to sell my firearm to GunBrigade?
Yes. All firearm transfers follow federal and state regulations. We only purchase firearms from individuals who can legally sell them.
Do you pick up firearms from my home?
Not at this time. All transfers must occur at a licensed location or through a legal process that complies with state law.
What types of firearms do you accept?
We accept most handguns, rifles, and shotguns. We do not accept illegal firearms, stolen firearms, or weapons prohibited by law.
How do you destroy the firearms?
Firearms are dismantled and rendered permanently inoperable using industry‑standard destruction methods.
Will I receive proof that my firearm was destroyed?
Yes. Upon request, we can provide documentation confirming the destruction of your firearm.
Do you offer cash for firearms?
Yes. Firearms are purchased using funds raised through donations and partnerships. The amount varies based on condition and type.
Can I remain anonymous?
Yes. We respect privacy. You may request that your name not be publicly associated with the transaction.
What happens to the parts after destruction?
All destroyed components are recycled or disposed of responsibly.
